Limited Re-Opening

The Millburn Library has reopened with limited capacity and some other changes.  The primary purpose of the re-opening is to allow on-site browsing and borrowing. 

RULES:

  • If you are sick, stay home
  • Maximum capacity: 39 visitors
  • 30-minute time limit
  • Proper face coverings must be worn to enter or remain inside
  • Maintain 6' of social distancing from staff and other patrons
  • Children under 14 must be accompanied by a parent or adult who remains with them and monitors their behavior
  • Maximum checkout limit:  10 items
  • The 2nd floor hallways and meeting rooms are CLOSED to the public
  • Use the entrance vestibule on the south side of the building (the side facing the railroad tracks)
  • Outside furniture may not be brought inside
  • Follow all instructions given to you by staff

 

Temporary Hours:

Sunday:  1:00 - 4:45 p.m. (doorside only)
Mon & Tues:  10:00 a.m. - 7:45 p.m.
Wed, Thurs & Fri:  10:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Saturday:  CLOSED

 

Computer access:

  • Catalog stations are open
  • Public Internet Workstations are CLOSED
  • Public Wi-Fi available
  • Wireless Printing is available from your own device
  • Scanning
  • 3-D Printing (staff mediated)

 

Not available at this time

  • Notary
  • Lounge seating
  • Print  newspapers
  • Quiet study rooms, groupwork & group study
  • Tables & chairs
  • On-site meetings & programs
  • Meeting room access

BCCLS inter-library delivery is available with pickup in your "home library" only (i.e.,  Millburn cardholders can only have items sent to Millburn). 

 

The Millburn Library encourages continued use of the virtual library, including e-books, e-magazines, and streaming services.

 

Self-checkout is available at the two kiosks in the library lobby.  You must have your library card with you to use self-checkout.  The Millburn Library also subscribes to meeScan allowing self-checkout through your own smartphone.
