Ask a Librarian

Here you can request a Millburn librarian to help with your research or other information needs. Just let us know the topic of your research and how you would like a staff member to help you and we would be glad to coordinate a 1-on-1 sit-down with you.

  • Anyone in need of obtaining particular academic articles from journals or magazines should submit this form, making sure to let us know all relevant information about the article in question.
  • If you are interested in scheduling a personal meeting for Tech 1-on-1 Help with our Digital Resources Librarian, you can request it here as well. In Tech Help we can teach you about our library apps, like Libby or Kanopy, or general technology questions, like setting up a new smartphone, using a computer or a specific program like Excel. Please note that we cannot help diagnose or repair any issue with software/hardware, or help you directly with financial matters.

If you have a short question about the library or its services, you can call or email us directly from our Contact page, or use our chat feature during open hours (just click the Chat pop-up button at the lower-right corner of the webpage).

and/or Journal Article Request
Give us a general idea of your topic.
If you are requesting a particular academic article, let us know how to find it: article title, author(s), date of publication, journal title, issue/volume.
Let us know how you’d like to meet, whether it’s in-person or virtual. Remote Assist is a tool where the library staff member can see your computer screen while you’re at home to help communicate better— 1-click set-up.
