Going on a local hike, or off to a vacation? Take some cool hiking gear with you! Hiking Kits are checked out for a 7-day loan, and are limited to Millburn cardholders, and you can pick them up at the Circulation Desk. They cannot be placed on Hold, nor be Renewed, and must be returned in-person at the Circulation Desk.
Each Hiking Kit contains the following items:
- Backpack
- Binoculars & case
- Birding Guide
- Magnifying Glass
- Pouch
- Compass
- South Mountain Reservation Trail Map (across the street from the Library!)
Late Fees, Replacement Cost Disclaimer
There is a $1-per-day late fee. If the entire kit is lost, the replacement fee is $85. If only a certain item(s) is lost, the replacement fee is listed below:
- Backpack: $15
- Binoculars & case: $15
- Birding Guide: $15
- Magnifying Glass: $10
- Pouch: $5
- Compass: $10
- South Mountain Reservation Trail Map: $5
