Home Borrowing

Any Millburn or Short Hills residents who are unable to make it into the Millburn Library due to illness, mobility limitations, or physical disability, can order books, audiobooks, magazines, DVDs, Wi-Fi hotspots and more for free delivery to their house (pre-paid return delivery is also included). Our mail-home bags can fit 3-5 items per delivery, and once your current items are returned in the mail, we can start working on your next delivery. If you  know someone who is eligible and would be helped by this service, please refer them to us.

During registration we will ask you to let us know your general preferences for items (types of items, genres, etc.). Library staff will select items that fit your profile for each delivery, though you will have the chance to fill out an order form before your next delivery to request specific items, if you have titles or authors in mind.

For a printable copy of the registration form, click here. Just fill it out and mail it back to the Millburn Library, and staff will get in contact with you. You may also fill out the online registration form below. Any questions you may have can be directed to the Information Department (reference@millburn.bccls.org / (973)376-1006 x191).
