The Summer Reading Challenge, “Color Our World”, is now over! Thanks to everyone who participated— we set a few new records, including highest number of total readers ever! And congratulations to the 31 children who reached 200 books!
Millburn Library’s 2025 Summer Reading Challenge Color our World is open to kids, teens and adults. Earn raffle tickets for logging the books you read this summer, and put them into weekly drawings to have a chance at our weekly prizes! (Kids earn keychain brag tags for each reading milestone they hit.) The Challenge is run via the Beanstack app.
Last year, we had 38,340 books read by 921 kids, 178 adults and 100 teens.
The Summer Reading Challenge is generously supported by the Friends of the Millburn Library.
Log all your books right on the app, no need to drop off logs at the Library. And spend those raffle tickets!
Download the AppLog onto the Beanstack website to log your Summer Reading Challenge hours.
LoginCan’t make it into the Library? Don’t worry— with your Millburn Library card you have a free subscription to our Libby eBook & audiobook collection! Check out the latest bestsellers, graphic novels, magazines, and eBooks in every genre! (And make sure to place Holds on your next reads so they’re ready when you are!)
Browse and place holds on books right on your phone! You can even scan the ISBN of a book you find anywhere to find a free copy in the library system instead to read. Download the BCCLS Libraries app from Apple or Google Play app store and sign in with your library barcode number.
Any of our kid readers are free to print out a paper log to track their books— teens & adults can log into their Beanstack app to record their books.
